One file with a 25 MB allowance
Start at 25 MB when your destination allows that size for one file. Check the exported size and play important details before uploading.

Choose a starting point
A 25 MB file may be just one part of a message or upload. Decide whether the allowance belongs to one file or to everything you are sending.
Start at 25 MB when your destination allows that size for one file. Check the exported size and play important details before uploading.
Try 20 MB as a smaller starting target, then add up the remaining attachments. This does not calculate encoded email size or guarantee that the message will send.
Keep the full clip only if the result remains useful. For presentations or tutorials, trim pauses before lowering resolution so important text has a better chance of staying readable.
These buttons change only the size target and select target-size mode. Your file and resolution setting stay in place; uploading starts only when you choose Start Compression.
Planning example
Twenty-five megabytes gives more room than 8 or 10 MB, but the same budget must still cover the whole video and its audio.
| Video length | Approximate total bitrate budget |
|---|---|
| 30 seconds | 6.67 Mbps |
| 60 seconds | 3.33 Mbps |
| 120 seconds | 1.67 Mbps |
| 300 seconds | 0.67 Mbps |
Calculated as 25,000,000 bytes × 8 ÷ duration, before subtracting audio and container overhead. Estimates describe the total data budget, not a predicted visual result or email delivery limit.
Check the whole message, all attachments and both sender and recipient policies. Reduce the target further or use your own cloud-storage link when the attachment route is unsuitable.
Recompress from the original and compare the original-resolution setting. If a long recording still loses essential detail, shorten it in an editor or choose a larger allowed target.
This page uses decimal MB: 25 MB is 25,000,000 bytes. A display in MiB uses a different unit; compare the actual byte count and the destination’s rule before changing settings.
